I am a full time student, work as the marketing manager at grünBAG and run this little blog of mine. Needless to say, time is of the essence. Therefore, I keep everything in my closet simple, coordinated and multifunctional.

As I come into my own, I am learning to truly apply the philosophy of less is more. I religiously follow the concept of quality over quantity with my clothing and accessories. Every piece in my wardrobe is a favourite. It is either second hand or from an ethical company I love.

When it comes to my every day bag, I recently upgraded to the Alden Backpack, a backpack grünBAG launched in collaboration with my friend Alden from Ecocult.

All-in-one for Students

As a student, the most important thing for me is to get my essential school items from A to B. Since I commute on my bike, it is important that the backpack is light and easy on my back. Danish rainy weather furthermore requires waterproof material, if I don’t want to ruining my computer or books on the go. And last but not least, I need a bag that keeps my things organised and neat.

With its waterproof material, extra compartments, a padded laptop case and outside pockets for a reusable water bottle, the Alden backpack fulfils all these essential requirements. But not just that. Helen, the founder of grünBAG, took it a step further and designed this backpack to keep it’s shape. No matter how fully packed it is.

The simple design of the backpack fits for every occasion. I am able to bring my everyday essentials for uni and work and head to a networking event right after, without feeling out of place.

Durable and Recycled

grünBAG’s bags and backpacks are made from recycled materials and the Alden in no exception. It is also available in different colours. I have been raving so much about it that even my fiancé has requested one for Christmas this year. Talk about a stamp of approval!

I am going to Berlin in the beginning of November and can’t wait to test as the travel backpack it was designed to be. I will let you know what I think when I am back. Until then, I want to give one of my darling readers the chance to try the backpack for themselves.

Win an Alden Backpack of your choice!
