You know me, I always love finding out about new sustainable brands that try to make a difference, contribute to positive environmental change and promote ethical practices. The lovely brand Lonali embodies a perfect example of such a company. Lonali is a London based brand that “focuses on ethically made clothes and lifestyle products made out of upcycled fabrics”.
Along with sustainable fashion, they sell the most exquisite notebooks, made from recycled paper, banana fibres and upcycled fabrics. The books were made in collaboration with the Women in Need collaboration in Sri Lanka which aims to abolish violence against women.I hardly ever use loose pieces of paper as I keep to lose them but I cannot get around using a good notebook. For the past 2 years, I’ve been using one notebook for everything: thoughts, sketches, memories, poems and notes. That way I don’t lose any of my notes and once one book is full, it can be archived and stored as an insight into my life at that time.
