How to make your own toothpaste

I actually found this recipe on  Lauren Singers blog Trash is for Tossers and found it amazing.

I love the fact that this recipe only has 3 ingredients and I love the process of creating your own flavor.

Here is what you need

  • 2 Tsp. Coconut oil
  • 1 Tsp. of Baking Soda
  • A few drops of your favorite essential oil (I used peppermint)
  • If you like your toothpaste sweeet you can also add 1 Tsp. of stevia powder (I didn’t though)

Simply mix the ingredients together in a jar, done!

Tipp: In summer it could happen that the coconut oil melts, but that is not a problem.

Just shake the jar and simply dip your toothbrush in it.

I would love to hear how you liked the toothpaste and what flavour you used? Leave a comment or connect with me via social media @thewastedblog using #facilitate
